Fruitcake (stylized in lowercase) is the second extended play (EP) by Sabrina Carpenter. It was released on November 17, 2023 through Island Records. It was preceded by the lead single, "A Nonsense Christmas", released nearly a year prior. It is Carpenter's first Christmas-themed record.
A Netflix holiday special titled A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter was released on December 6, 2024, featuring live performances of the first four songs on the EP along with other holiday standards.
Background[]
On November 8, 2023, fans who signed up to Carpenter's emailing list received an exclusive email that revealed the EP cover, track listing and release date. The following day, Carpenter posted the EP cover on her social media platforms along with the track list.[1][2]
