Girl Meets World is an American coming of age sitcom. The series first premiered on June 27, 2014 after the premiere of Zapped, a Disney Channel Original Movie, and ended on January 20, 2017. The series is a spin-off of Boy Meets World, with Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel reprising their roles as Cory and Topanga Matthews now married with two kids and living in New York.
Plot[]
The series follows Cory and Topanga Matthews' (Savage and Fishel) pre-teen daughter Riley (Blanchard) and her rebellious best friend Maya Hart (Carpenter) as they navigate through the challenges of life. The series also stars Peyton Meyer as Lucas Friar, Riley's love interest, Corey Fogelmanis, a good friend of Riley's and August Maturo as Auggie, Riley's five-year-old brother. The series takes place in New York where Cory and Topanga moved in the Boy Meets World finale.
