Quinn Ackerman is a character that Sabrina Carpenter portrayed in the film Work It.
Biography[]
Quinn is a quirky and intelligent high school senior who desires to attend Duke University, her late father's alma mater. When she is told by their admissions counselor that she needs a hobby to make her application stands out, she lies and claims to be a member of her high school dance team, the Thunderbirds. Instead of confessing the truth, she decides to start her own dance team and compete in the Work It dance competition against them, despite having never danced before. She then enlists renowned dancer and choreographer Jake Taylor to help teach her how to dance. The two also form a romantic relationship.
