The Short n' Sweet Tour is Sabrina Carpenter's fifth headlining tour and first arena tour, in promotion of her sixth studio album Short n' Sweet. The tour will take place in North America and Europe, starting September 23, 2024 and ending on November 23, 2025.

Background[]

Carpenter announced the tour on June 20, 2024, with pre-sale starting on June 25, and ticket sales to the public starting on June 28.[1]

On July 18, 2024, a European leg of the tour was announced, consisting of 9 shows taking place in March 2025. Pre-sale began on July 23.[2]

On February 27, 2025, an additional North American leg of the tour was announced, consisting of 12 shows taking place throughout October and November 2025. Pre-sale began on March 4.[3]

Concert synopsis[]

Carpenter uses "If It Wasn't for the Nights" by ABBA and "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross as her entrance songs. The show starts with an animation of Carpenter walking into a building, followed by a pre-recorded video of her having a bubble bath. To her shock, a narrator tells her that "The Short n' Sweet Show" is starting now as the curtain opens and the announcer introduces Carpenter. This is followed by Carpenter running on stage with a white towel, before running downstairs and revealing a sparkling strapless corset and a matching nightgown. She proceeds to perform "Taste" and "Good Graces" with her dancers. This is followed by a welcome note by Carpenter where she thanks her opening act, followed by a performance of "Slim Pickins" by the fireplace, and "Tornado Warnings" with a male backup dancer. Carpenter ends the set with "Lie to Girls" with female dancers and a short snippet of "Decode". She opens the next set with a fictional advertisement, followed by a performance of "Bed Chem" in a circle-shaped bed with female dancers. The next set opens with an intro to a fictional sitcom, "Sabrina After Dark", where Carpenter's band and backup singers are introduced, and Carpenter appears in a custom Patou black jumpsuit followed by a jazz rendition of "Feather". She proceeds to perform "Fast Times" and "Read Your Mind" (the latter of which being replaced with "Busy Woman" as of March 2025).

Carpenter later enters a bathroom while performing "Sharpest Tool", followed by a short snippet of "Opposite". Carpenter proceeds to perform "Because I Liked a Boy" and "Coincidence" in a black cover-up robe before spinning a bottle to determine a surprise cover song to perform. Carpenter then proceeds to perform "Nonsense", before closing a set with a satirical "Technical Difficulties" screen in place of a custom outro. The narrator then reappears, recapping the previous highlights of the tour, before Carpenter rushes to him to chastise him about the technical difficulty before firing him out of anger. Two advertisements are shown that lead up to a performance of "Dumb & Poetic", where Carpenter appears in a Ludovic de Saint Sernin two-piece dress. Accompanied by two female dancers, she then passes pink handcuffs to an audience member or celebrity, with an "under arrest for being too hot" alert being displayed on the screen, before proceeding with "Juno". While singing "have you ever tried this one?", Carpenter teases new sexual positions at every show. She proceeds with a performance of "Please Please Please" and "Don't Smile" before encoring with "Espresso".

Stage[]

The stage for the tour is a rectangle with a "penthouse" built onto it, then a catwalk that ends with a heart. The house is kept in a 1960s sitcom style with two floors, a bathroom, bedroom, living room with a fireplace, band room, and three pairs of large stairs. The main stage is located behind a large curtain that is up for most of the show.

In the lower middle is a large empty space with a set of five mirrors in the back, which move during some performances (eventually ending next to the bedroom) and four circular pillars supporting the secondary floor.

On the left side, there is a living room with a round fuzzy carpet and a standing lamp next to the fireplace, along with two pairs of stairs. The first is horizontal to the "TV show audience" and leads to a mezzanine where the band room is located, which contains another lamp as well as instruments such as drums and electric guitar. From the band room leads another pair of stairs, this time curved with a balustrade. This leads to the second floor, and on the left are a few steps to the bathroom entrance.

In the bathroom, there is a heart-shaped toilet and mirror, a sink and an elegant bathtub. During the last act, the bathtub moves to the front right side of the stage. On the right upper side is an enclosed room that leads Carpenter to the bedroom below, which is actually a large circle-shaped bed with pillows and curtains. There is also a pair of stairs on the right side of the main stage, which is long and curved with a balustrade leading to a balcony by the enclosed room.

To go onto the catwalk, Carpenter goes down from three small steps to the lower middle of the stage. The catwalk is sided with LED strips that light up multiple colors during specific songs. It ends with a heart platform that can be raised up and down, and this platform allows Carpenter to have more intimate contact with the audience. The heart and catwalk combined may be resembling a phallus. In the back, there is a large screen that shows different visuals throughout the "Short n' Sweet Show".

There are other set pieces that appear during certain performances. There is a vanity (without a mirror) that is later replaced by a piano with a heart-shaped sheet music holder. During the "Tornado Warnings" performance, there is a spinning chair and also a settee, which is used again during "Juno". For the entirety of the show, there are "SC" cameras located on both front sides of the main stage.
