Singular: Act II is the fourth studio album by Sabrina Carpenter. It was released on July 19, 2019 as her final album through Hollywood Records. It is the second half of her original full-length studio album Singular, the first part taking the form of her third studio album, Singular: Act I.
Background[]
On October 22, 2018, Carpenter confirmed that Singular would be released in two "acts", with Act I being released on November 9 and Act II "coming soon".[1]
The cover art and release date for Singular: Act II were revealed on June 4, 2019. The album art was initially shared using Apple's AirDrop sharing feature in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Nashville and Mexico.[2]
Singles[]
The lead single, "Pushing 20", was released on March 8, 2019. It was first performed live on the Singular Tour prior to its release.
The second single, "Exhale", was released on May 3, 2019. It was also first performed live on the Singular Tour prior to its release.
The third single, "In My Bed", was released on June 7, 2019, along with the album pre-sale.
Promotional singles[]
The promotional single, "I'm Fakin", was released on July 12, 2019, a week before the album's release.
