Sofía Daccarett Char (born April 10, 1993), professionally known as Sofia Carson, is an American actress and singer. She had her first role as a guest star on the Disney Channel show Austin & Ally and, months later, she was cast as Evie in the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants.
In 2016, she co-starred with Sabrina Carpenter in the movie Adventures in Babysitting, as well as collaborated with her on the movie's theme song, "Wildside". She also co-performed the song "We're the Babysitters" in the movie, a rap battle with Carpenter. To promote the film, she and Carpenter guest-starred as themselves on the Disney XD comedy series Walk the Prank.
Carson also releases her own music. She released her debut self-titled album in 2022.
